From books to bytes: Two area bookstores decide to go digital – Leavenworth, KS – The Leavenworth Times – Leavenworth, KS

While you’ll still be able to purchase paper copies of books at downtown bookstores, a few retailers also will be setting up “shelves” in cyberspace. Two local bookstores — Pages Books & Coffee and Faith & Life Bookstore in Newton — have announced plans to expand their offerings to include e-books and e-reading devices.Pages Books & CoffeePages Books & Coffee, 605 N. Main, has a partnership with the American Booksellers Association and will be offering e-books through Kobo.
